The Gene Autry Show was directed by George Archainbaud and D. Ross Lederman. It was an American western television series that debuted in July 23, 1950 and lasted until August 7, 1956 at CBS network.Gene Autry is a singing cowboy on radio and movies. He was given a big break when he and his horse, Champion was featured in the weekly television series.
His role changed weekly from rancher, to ranch hand then to border agent and many more. Gene's sidekick is Pat who is played by Pat Buttram. During the first season of the series, Gene's sidekick was played by Chill Wills.
