Hoss became friends with Professor Poppy who is an English Man. Joe's ex-girlfriend Hallie Shannon thinks that Joe killed her husband. Ben wants to have a good sleep but it seems it is not given to him. The world's richest man, Charles Hacket decided that he wants Ponderosa and he will do everything to get it. George had a reputation of being a jinx. Ben is the chairman of an entertainment committee for the anniversary celebration of Virginia City. To end the season, Wrangler Dan Tolliver has been a hand on the Ponderosa for a long time.
