Due South DVD

Due South was premiered on the 22nd of September 1994 and lasted on the 31st of May 1996. It runs for two (2) seasons with forty (40) episodes. The series was created by Paul Haggis. It tackles the exploits of Mountie Benton Fraser with his wolf companion named Diefenbaker.

Benton Fraser played by Paul Gross accompanied by his deaf half-wolf names Diefenbaker moved to Chicago to solve the murder of his father. His investigation leads him to uncover a plot that will led to the slow killing of the environment and that he decide to stay in Chicago knowing that he is not wanted in Canada.

He work for the local Canadian consulate and made friends and became partners with Ray Vecchio played by David Marciano, a tough, streetwise local police. Vecchio's sister Francesca has a major crush on Fraser. Fraser have different style or methods, he was usually more sensitive and understanding than the typical police which gave the series a reputation well-rounded characters. Both Vecchio and Fraser were confused, Vecchio was confused by Benton's strange methods of doing things while Fraser was confused by how are the things done on the south.
