Adam 12 was a realistic police drama television series which ran from September 21 1968 until 1975. The series is produced and created by Jack Webb. From his experience with Dragnet, Jack Webb created a realistic cop about LAPD activies. The show ran seven years and was among the most popular police dramas at all time.

The series is a police drama following the lives of two officers of the LAPB named Pete Malloy ( Martin Miller), veteran, Jim Reed(Kent McCord)rookie partner and Seargent William MacDonald(William Boyett).Each episode covered a variety of incidents that the officers encountered during a shift. The two officers involve daily assignments, close teamworks,law inforcement procedures, police issues ,robberies and criminal investigations Patrol Station (Rampart & Central Division Headquarters. As the show continue, Reed promoted from a rookie to a LA finest, and graduating to regular status officer.
