Coach DVD
The Coach was an American Situation Comedy that centered on head coach Hayden Fox (Craig T. Nelson) of a fictional division I-A college football team, the Minnesota State University Screaming Eagles. The Screaming Eagles resembles the reputation of the Golden Gophers of the University of Minnesota, considered as a poor D-I football team but one with a glorious past. With the help of his assistant coaches Luther Van Dam (Jerry Van Dyke) and Dauber Dybinski (Bill Fagerbakke), Fox slowly develops the Eagles into a college bowl contender and eventually winning the National Championship.
Aside from his coaching job, Fox also has to deal with his personal relationships with tv anchorwoman girlfriend Christine (Shelly Faberes) and campus coed daughter Kelly Fox (Clare Carey). The coach tv series aired on ABC from February 28, 1989 to May 14, 1997 for 200 episodes in 9 seasons. It is currently airing in syndication.
