With their family pets dog Santa's Little Helper and cat Snowball II, they live in a wacky, humorous but brilliant and enjoyable life together with their friends, evil/good neighbors, co-workers, teachers, etc., where the series became influential with some show catchphrases have been used in real life. Popular celebrity guest voices joined their adventure; Mel Gibson, Bob Hope, Kim Basinger, Dustin Hoffman, Alec Baldwin and many others.
